We broadcast 14 hours of live TV to 103M homes every day and our prime hours are filled with rich characters that take us to new and fascinating places - we launched 20 new series in 2013 alone. All this backed by the knowledge and expertise of 200+ world class meteorologist and climatologists. Without a doubt, we’re the network people turn to most often each day to see what’s waiting for them beyond their front door.

And our mission goes beyond great TV and storytelling, we treasure the role our network plays in keeping people safe and informed during severe weather events. During Sandy alone, more people watched The Weather Channel than every other news network combined.

Whether covering a hurricane, delivering local forecasts or chronicling stories behind the storms, The Weather Channel team helps people in all parts of the world to better understand, and prepare for, weather events. After all, it is amazing out there.
