Drop Off Facilities
The IWMA operates five household hazardous waste drop off facilities in San Luis Obispo County where residents can bring household hazardous waste materials. The maximum amount you can drop off at one time for free is 15 gallons or 125 pounds. We accept all household hazardous waste except radioactive or explosive. Drop off is limit is 15 gallons or 125 pounds. No charge to SLO County residents.

If you are a conditionally exempt small business and generate less than 27 gallons or 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month, we can provide hazardous waste collection and disposal
