Waste Association

Louisiana Solid Waste Association (LSWA) was chartered on June 10, 2004 by a group of professionals dedicated to providing training and continuing education for the industry. The LSWA board of directors consist of solid waste professionals from various sectors of the industry including solid waste collection and disposal, recycling, regulatory, engineering and design, and governmental. This group of professionals guides our training and education efforts to maintain the highest standards of solid waste management throughout our industry.

The 2016 Louisiana Environmental Conference will be held March 16-18, 2016 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Registration forms are under the EVENTS tab.

LSWA lost one of their Charter Members on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Mr. James "Buddy" Veuleman will be remembered in a service on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana. The funeral and burial services will be on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. The Board ask you to keep Mr. Buddy's wife, Roma, His sons, Bugs and Elton, daughter, Leah and many grandchildren in your prayers.
