Yard Waste Site Hours
2016 Regular Schedule:
The City Allentown Yard Waste Site is located at 1401 Oxford Dr. (Fish Hatchery & Oxford Dr.) and will be open as follows:

Regular Hours:
Saturday, April 2 through Monday November 21:

Mondays- 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Wednesdays- 8:00 am to 6:30 pm or dusk
Fridays- 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Saturdays- 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Winter Hours (weather permitting)
2016- Saturdays- January 9, February 6 and March 5 from 10 am - 12 pm.

*Open to Allentown Residents Only. Allentown residents must provide identification.

MUST prepay-$12 per bucket loading fee - Mulch for bigger loads by appt.

* The City will offer mulch loading services every Wednesday from 8:00 am to 12 noon. Loading services will be available for a pre-paid fee of $12 per one cubic yard bucket load. There is no cost for self-loading material. There are various grades of mulch and top dressings, however, the City cannot guarantee the quality or quantity available.

Payment must be made prior to loading, at the Recycling & Solid Waste Office, 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

No payments will be accepted at the yard waste site.

Self-loading of material is still FREE

Curbside yard waste collection will begin on Sunday, April 3, 2016 and ends Thanksgiving week Friday, November 25, 2016. (You may still place it out Thanksgiving week).
