Arizona is a hotbed for golf and with its perfect weather - aside from those frost delays last week during the Waste Management Phoenix Open - it's no wonder why.

We're interested most in the courses that everybody can play. For this week's, 'A Quick Nine, ' feature, we asked our PGA.com Facebook fans: What is your favorite course to play (open to public) in the great state of Arizona?

Here's what you told us:

After a Tom Weiskopf redesign that took nearly two years, the two courses at Troon North were blended together and the hole sequences on both were changed around. It's one of the coolest looking places you'll ever see - almost like a Salavador Dali painting.

Facebook fan quotes:

"Troon North." - Steve Paine

"Troon North." - Mark Ayers

"Troon North." - Ryan C. Pontius

This course was developed by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, We-Ko-Pa (Yavapai for “Four Peaks”). Its 36 holes feature dramatic views of the McDowell Mountains, Red Mountain, Four Peaks and the Superstitions.

"We-ko-pa." - Tim Stephenson

"We-ko-pa with Troon North a close second." - Stacie Williams Stern

"We-Ko-Pa." - Luke Baker

"We-Ko-Pa, Troon North, Grayhawk all good choices, but so many more to play. Looking forward to the move out there and continue to debate this question." - Todd Brunsink

A Ritz-Carlton resort, so you know it's high end, it is also home to the World Golf Championships Accenture Match Play Championship each February.

"Dove Mountain." - Mark Hollinger

"Dove Mountain." - Guy Bonilla

"Dove Mountain." - Thomas Righter

Along with having played host to a number of PGA Tour-sanctioned events over the years, Grayhawk is also the home course of many PGA Tour players. It's one of the most celebrated daily-fee courses in Arizona with two exceptional courses - the Talon and Raptor.

"Grayhawk." - Chris Greene

"Grayhawk!" - Craig Ward

"If I ever move to Arizona from Scotland you would find me at Grayhawk Talon & Raptor or Dinosaur at Gold Canyon again." - James Conlan

"Grayhawk Raptor #1 then Seguro at WeKoPa." - Mark Johnson

The name alone makes this place intriuging. It's a 36-hole golf haven in the high Sonoran Desert with a 4.5 star rating by Golf Digest.

"Gold Canyon - Dinosaur!" - Jessica Mohamed MacDonell

"Dinosaur Mountain, Gold Canyon Resort." - Steve Schneider

"Dinosaur Mountain at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort!" - Cathrine Steinland

"Dinosaur Mountain... Gold Canyon." - John Crawford

"Dinosaur Mountain at Gold Canyon Resort." - Mark Tremonti

Arguably the most well-known course in all of Arizona, TPC Scottsdale plays host to the biggest party in golf each year with the Waste Management Phoenix Open. When people think of TPC Scottsdale, they usually think of the short, but incredibly intimidating par-3 16th.

"To me it has got to be the TPC Scottsdale. Played there last Aug. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were very much welcomed and we are going back again this year. It's a beautiful course. Just dont hit your ball into a bunker." - Lyn Hall

"The TPC by far! No comparison." - Duane F. Pruett

Many refer to Southern Dunes as the highlight of their golf trip to Scottsdale. That can't be a bad thing.
