You can dispose of hazardous household materials and products - such as fluorescent light bulbs and tubes, oil-based paint and cleaning products - at the region’s Household Hazardous Waste Facilities. Located at 12550 Stone Avenue North (directions below). Note that Household Hazardous Waste is not accepted at the North Recycling and Disposal station (located in the Fremont/Wallingford area at 1350 North 34th Street).
Open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. No appointment is required. Closed on July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Operated by SPU. Commercial or business waste is not accepted, except for a pilot program for small businesses.
