The Masters in Agro-Engineering offers a wide variety of opportunities for research at the interface of engineering, biology, and agriculture, and has a long tradition and well-respected reputation for its research on biological systems engineering. The Master prepares students for doing basic scientific research in agro-engineering. The degree emphasises scientific research, design, analysis, economics, and management at the either different path research engineer or professional engineer.
The Masters has one-year duration (from september to july). Five optional courses are offered in Spanish to each of the following scientific domains: engineering and environmental projects; rural buildings; energy and water resources; machine systems and automation. Full English lecturing is only available in the area of automation (A minimum B1 level of English competence is required).
The Masters in Agro-Engineering prepares students to follow 3rd cycle (PhD) studies, which is offered by the same team of the Master. Graduate students holding a three-year degree or more can apply for the Master; however those students holding a three-year degree must take complementary courses (consult by email) before been admitted into the Master. Candidates will be selected after a detailed revision of their curriculum vitae.
