The Public Works Department consists of both the Street and Sanitation Departments. The Street Department takes care of right-of-way maintenance only. Any private property issues should be addressed with the City of London's building inspector. The Sanitation Department takes care of residential and commercial garbage collection. They also operate a convenience station on Highway 192 East for city residents to dump garbage. All garbage is weighed and charged accordingly.
