Welcome to Waste Management

The City of Kennewick has partnered with Waste Management of Washington, Inc. to provide collection of garbage and recycling for all residents, multifamily complexes and businesses.

Information below applies only to service
inside the City limits of Kennewick.

Collection Information

Residents have weekly collection for garbage and recycling.

Place garbage and recycling at the curb by 6:00 a.m. Place bins to the side of your trash cart so the bins are not blocking the cart.

Leaf Collection

Fall is here and trees are losing their leaves, have no fear, Waste Management is here to collect your fallen leaves!

Waste Management collects bagged leaves during the first full calendar week of November through the first week in January. Put leaves in garbage bags and place next to your cart on collection day. (No limit on bags; each bag must be less than 55 pounds.)

If your container(s) were at the curb by 6:00 am and were not emptied, please report a missed collection by clicking here or call 1 877 466-4668 (M-F 8 AM - 5 PM, SAT 9 AM to 1 PM).
Garbage and recycling are collected on all holidays except Christmas and New Year's Day.

If your collection day falls on or after Christmas or New Year's Day, collection will be one day later that week with Friday customers being serviced on Saturday.

Waste Management is able to provide service in most weather conditions.
