The Research Symposium is being conducted in conjunction with IIT Madras Golden Jubilee celebrations, and will be held at the IIT Madras campus during the 2008 Global Conference between December 19 and 21.
The theme for the symposium is...
Spirit of Research, Spirit of Innovation.
Contributions were solicited from Alumni and Faculty of all IITs, show-casing cutting edge research in any area of human endeavor.
In keeping with the theme of the Global Conference, the material presented was required to have the potential to "Inspire, Innovate, and Transform" society.

Selected researchers will present their project at the Research Symposium during the 2008 Global Conference.
